IMC Club. Worth it?

Has anyone joined IMC Club? http://imcclubs.org/

Is it worth it? Are local chapters normally active? I imagine it is on a case-by-case basis. I would be interested to know if any instrument pilots have found it useful on keeping up on instrument flight topics.

Been to several meetings. Could accomplish same with an airport coffee club of some sort.

I joined it. I enjoy the meetings and discussion. For $36 per year its no biggie, get a lot out of the discussions, and it is structured. I could see where more experienced IFR pilots may be ambivalent, but for me it's good.

No ! Big waste of money. The only thing that makes me madder is that I didn't think of it first.
