Heading out for San Antonio this afternoon with an overnight stop at Shawnee OK along the way. With these winds I'd hate to be flying towards the NW.

I made a trip from Houma, LA to KY yesterday in those winds. I kept the 421 at 7,000 and still had 15 knot headwinds. Luckily the turbulence wasn't too bad.

BTW, I bought home a Turducken for Thanksgiving dinner and everyone loved it. You need to try one.

Doubtful as the family is along, although my wife expressed an interest in seeing the "fountain of horses" or something like that in Dallas. I did wave as I flew by 30 miles to the west.

Well, you're certainly welcome if you change your mind, but I know how tiring it can be to add a stop or side trip to a long trip. I'll be up in Wisconsin the following weekend and will check if getting together makes sense.

Looks like I'll have some pretty strong headwinds coming back tomorrow; hope you do better!!
