. . . . . They're everywhere. Her Majesty and I were on the ferry to Peaks Island, yesterday. Peaks' population increases largely during the summer, many having had summer homes there for generations. It's about a 20 minute trip from Portland. One of the cars -- see photo -- probably escaping Chicago(stated here with humor). The PI bumper sticker has small print (Peaks Island) under the letters. But looking at the registration plate one would guess the owners have been coming to PEAKS for more than a few years.
