Idaho mountain crash.....

They were very lucky to survive that. The weather around the whole area was horrible and I wonder what he was thinking even flying that day. Might have been fuel starvation as in the picture the prop blade I can see is not bent. Don

What was the Wx? I'd also have thought that anyone flying out in that country would have a PLB.
 
We had high winds, rain, snow and a lot of BIG cells moving through northern Nevada and southern Idaho all day and into the night.
