Ice on the ground in San Diego!

Haven't seen this since I was flying in New England.....went out to my plane at MYF this morning and my windscreen had a nice layer of ice and there was even frost on my wings! Sure enough, my OAT gauge was showing 30F this morning.....what the heck happened.....It never freezes in San Diego!

Had to defrost the plane this morning, too. Of course, that's not odd in Ohio in December. What's odd is that the day was nice enough to get in the air!

Boy am I glad I left on Tuesday. I liked being in San Diego, but was getting tired of flying up and down the coast with the blimp. Not a lot of room to fly over there.
