I think I want my PPL, please help me!

This is part of what's holding me back. BS degree, 1050hrs of ASEL and only 50 AMEL that's not even all PIC.. Going for my MEI this spring though (If I don't owe Uncle Sam too much)

Buy a cheap twin with 2-3 other guys, get your MEIs and fly the dog snot out of it. Flog it like a retarded race horse selling ratings and time building. Run it at 75% power for peak and L/D max for cruise. Don't let the engines cool unless you have to. Believe it or not, the engines will likely be less expensive to maintain over the year than if you ran it 50 hrs.
 
That sounds like a good idea, I know a couple CFIs just like myself with too much single-engine time.

I know when I was interviewing that having 1100 of my 1200 hrs being ME was influential in getting calls.
