Not many know this, but the board software has an automatic validation routine to evaluate the worth of any poster, checking a proprietary array of elements, including credit history, ratings, college GPA and blood chemistry (your identity is extrapolated from IP analysis, and interpolated, if you are on a dynamic IP, from the IP range you are in).


The best way to get something like this recognized faster, is to make a massive donation to a really good charity (public arboreta and youth bands are not nearly good enough), and issue a press release touting your good works and stellar attitude.

Or, could be, I am full of cr*p, and I have not one whit of an idea why your quote is lost in the ether. I leave it to you to judge which witch is which.
 
last time I checked, there was some sort of bugginess going on with the quotes. This was a few months back, and I think Greebo was checking into it. You can check under the Site feedback thread to see what I and several others were having issues with, quote-wise.

I think I was trying to post one at the time, or else trying to read through the entire listing. But same issue: it wasn't there.
