Even though it was - again - super windy and gusty, my CFI suggested we meet anyway, to go over where I was in my training, etc., and to familiarize me with the airplane itself, so next time (hopefully next Saturday!), we can get right in and fly away. So I jumped into my trusty Ford Escort and bopped down to my new training field (which is sufficient distance that my arm is now sunburnt from hanging out the window...). It is totally worth the drive. My new CFI and I get along famously, the airport is super awesome (boy was it fun to see the planes taxiing around and taking off again!), and the plane was beautiful!
(This is not my picture. I got out to the plane, convinced I left my phone in the FBO with my stuff, so I didn't even try to get pictures. I got back to the FBO, and couldn't find my phone. It was in my back pocket the entire time.

I can't wait to go back next weekend and fly! I am so excited!
