Nice friggin airplane!

Got checked out today finally in a 182R and I love the crap out of it. Flies nice and roomy plus plenty of power.

Felt like flying a nice handling car compared to a beater car like a 172 does. LOL

Now I understand why people like to fly them so much.

Yep... the 182 is not the best at ANYTHING but it is good at most things...

I miss my 182 somedays...

David.... your next challenge is figuring out where you want to go.

The 182 expands your horizons in a big way...

For me, it's nice to go Denton to Houston in 2 hours versus 4.5 on the freeway including slogging through downtown Dallas.

I have owned two 182s, a straight leg and a turbo RG. Nice solid machine. Not real fast, but a solid travelling machine.

Yes. 420 actually, but I'm usually flying with 270 total....

This is true.

But the 182 will act as a reasonable substitute for a long time.
