I got to fly today!!

I woke up this morning to clear skies and calm winds!
Naturally, the first thing I thought of was flying. My parents were going out to some land they bought kind of out of town so I told my Mom to bring her camera and take some pictures of me as I flew over.
Me and my girlfriend headed to the airport and took the Cherokee out over them.

Cool. I was able to get some time in on Friday... Flew to Airlake with some friends...

Was supposed to fly saturday.. But there was an overcast at around 700 ft

Great pictures, Rudy! I was planning on flying IFR w/ my grandfather on yesterday (Sunday), but while the forecast was alright, the weather ended up being 3 in Haze, BKN007, OVC013. Not what my grandfather was wanting to fly in. (He doesn't fly any hard IFR, because it's not enjoyable to him at this point and doesn't want to get himself in more trouble than he needs to...but he does fly IFR).

Planning on flying this weekend in the 152 though..
