I applied for an internship at Endeavor, what does the status mean?

It has said "Not selected" since the moment I clicked the apply button but I am not sure what the screening means. Anyone know what either could mean? Its kind of contradicting. I do remember though that the application said I must be a junior but I am a sophomore. I was told to apply anyway by a recruiter so thats why I applied.

I'm clueless, but I'm going to guess that choice is the default option and it means your application is in a big slush pile waiting to be looked through.

Are we supposed to know something about how to interpret their computer systems?

It means they’re still reviewing all of the other applications <screening process>, at least that’s how I would interpret it.
