I am SO drooling

[Ken Ibold]

Can you say bang for the buck? Small tail Lancair 360. I am SO on board with that.

From the ad: "Cruises at 207 kts(2400 RPM, full throttle between 7,000 and 11,000 ft. 100 nm range"

Lancairs always have a nice ramp appeal, IMO. The quoted speeds are nice, but is the range correct?

[docmirror]

I'm guessing 1000 nm range. Several other typos in the ad.

[Concorde]

100 nm Range. 57 Gallon fuel capacity ?

[Jay Honeck]

That is a VERY attractive price.

I wonder why?

[Greg Bockelman]

ORANGE interior? Oh My.

[Abram]

Ken,

It's time for you to get another airplane. I talked to Kathy and she's cool with it!

with an IO360. That will typically have a gph somewhere south of 11, so I'd peg the range closer to 1000nm. As someone else said, a typo.

So does he really want $650,000 or $6,500. That missing or extra 0 does some crazy stuff.....

[wabower]

Lancairs are required by NTSB to calculate and report range numbers in MDBC (mean distance between crashes.)

Tell you what. Offer $650,000 and see if he accepts!

Refunding the balance of corse!

I got sucked into that darn 419 scambait website someone posted on here a couple weeks back. It was even almost worth the huge waste of time.

Yes it is. And we still have to figure out how to get to LA to visit Kaelyn. I know, I'll hitch a ride with you!!

[TexasPilot71]

Seems he fixed the asking price. $65,000.00. That's not bad is it?

[LDJones]

ORANGE interior? Oh My.

That's one seriously ugly interior.

Any time! However, I think I might need a new airplane to accommodate that mission....

[PBristolJr]

Hate to say it but 980 hours is above average for a Lancair. Good looking plane, not sure why there isn't a stick in the right seat. On flightaware he files for 200kts which seems correct to me.

[wsuffa]

ORANGE interior? Oh My.

The 70's called. They want their orange Naugahide back.

[Ken Ibold]

Lots of stick aircraft have quick-release sticks for non-flying pax.

I'm sure Samantha has a suggestion in that regard ...

[NineThreeKilo]

Not that great of a deal, plenty of those for 60-70k.

Thought this guy was cool, not many of em though..

200kts with a 1000lb load dude is asking $65k

She does, but a Citation X is not in the cards....

Flightaware also indicates that the last IFR flight was 5 years ago. Big red flag there!
