I-10 closed east of Palm Springs - for a while

In case you've been planning to drive I-10 either way from Phoenix to LA, the rains came and washed out a section of I-10 NE of the Salton Sea.

It'll be back in a few months if they do like after Northridge and offer bonuses for coming in ahead of schedule.
