Humidor opinions

Looks nice... in my experience as long as you get a decent seal (check with a strip of paper), you're good. What is important is to get yourslef a good hygrometer. The analog one that comes with the humidor will doubtless be completely worthless. II got a nice little digital one at Radio Shack years ago. Get a gel humidifier and some propylene glycol. 50/50 mix with distilled water abd you're good to go.
 
No sweat. I did a LOT of learning and research when I started smoking cigars. One nice thing about cruises and the occasional trip to Europe, you can get cigars made wherever you bloody well please. But you gotta take care of those puppies.

My own humidor came from Sam's Club for about $40. It's a nice laquered box with a glass top. I saw it in a local shop - the exect same box, not just something close - for $350. Sheesh.
 
I have one made of solid mahogany that I don't even use. I was using it for a watch hospital for awhile, but can't get the smell out of it.

I had to give up on cigars on doctor's orders.

My cedar humidor is a cheapie that I hold closed with mini-bungees, but I have several Credo humidifiers, a couple of really good travel humidors, some pouches, including an expensive leather one and a $70 Colibri lighter and a bunch more torch lighters pending me digging it all out.

I'll make a deal for the whole package. PM me and be patient while I gather it all up to occupy the same space soon.
