How's This for Carry-Along Ground Transportation?

Nothing less than three wheels for air transport and two wheels for the road for me.

Not that brave to try a gas powered unicycle.

I like it, I wonder how long the battery is good for.

The spec sheet says up to 25 miles. It looks like the first models will be limited to 12.5 mph, so they can go on the sidewalk (like a Segway), but they can do up to 25 mph. It says they are going into production in January and hope to have product by April, so they are pretty far along. It looks pretty cool to me, but at 125 lbs, it is going to be hard to get in and out of the plane.

I wonder what the battery weighs and if it would be a simple thing to split the weight into two lifts?

I'm thinking about panic stops, on either.

have an accident? you'll be the first one on the scene.

You couldn't get Wile E. Coyote on those things even if they were made by ACME.

That is a good point. It says there will be two batteries that are easily removable for charging.

Yikebike says it weights about 30 lbs in the aluminum version, more with 2 extra batteries to be comeptitive for range with RYNO. But it's a whole lot lighter even so.
