Would it fall under lighter then air?

Oh and I think he needs Oxygen for this flight.
 
Hmmmm I wonder if you would need an USPA A-License rating since technically you are in freefall :)

Solo and multi-engine, for sure (there's a lot of thrusters on the MMU) but it can't count as fixed-wing time...?
 
I'm guessing it's in the ultralight category. Class E, > FL600, doesn't that require DME?

Just out of curiosity, remember the James Bond jetpack? Where did that fit in?

I think you might have some issues with DME service volumes, though. Not to mention you'd be right over it and it would still run out of decimal places. You can see the entire continent, though, do you really need DME to tell you where you are?
