This forum is one of those forums designated as "confidential" on Pilots of America. This means that you may, if you choose, post in this particular forum anonymously, and be assured that no direct link between your post and you will be retained in any form.

This is allowed so that you may ask questions, relay personal stories, or share other information which you might not otherwise want to do so with your name attached.

How to Post Anonymously
In order to post anonymously you must Log Out of the forums using the Log Out link in the top right portion of every screen on PilotsOfAmerica.com.

Once you are logged out, you may return to this forum and enter a new post as a Guest, or enter an "alias" username under which to post your message. Whether you supply a username or not, your post will be submitted completely anonymously and nobody will know who wrote it. (See Caution, below)

In order to begin posting under your username again, you must log in again with your username and password.

Under development
We are working on a means to allow you to post anonymously without having to go through the process of logging out, but we do not have an estimate on when that feature will be available.

Caution
Please be advised that your Internet Protocol Address (IP) is logged with every post, regardless of anonymity. The administration of Pilots of America capture this information for security purposes only and will only use the posted IP to determine the identity of an anonymous poster if the anonymous poster is abusing the Pilots of America forums. All posts made on Pilots of America forums which violate the Rules of Conduct can and will be held against the registered user who abuses the ability to post anonymously, and such abuses can lead to suspension or permanent banning of such an abuser, by username and by IP.

Okay. I'll start checking in here.
Just got back ferrying the PA34 from PIA to 3MY. It was just 35 degrees (the engines will starte w/o preheat) and 1300 and 4. Just enough. Last night was 300-1 and no way was I getting into the home drome.

Thanks, Troy. I just couldn't take the bullying and meaness. Besides, JW was one of the libelous ones that did bring down AvWeb, so I am told; and anyone with assets and /or a board memebership can be named in a suit.

Greetings Doc Bruce.

It's good to see you in Medical Matters again even if it is elsewhere...

:) :) :) :) :)

Hi Bruce. On Monday I took the 421 to TAS for annual inspection. I'm keeping Bob Gerace informed on how it goes.

Good to see your name at the top of a post.

I guess we need to be anonymous for somethings, eh ? Like talking about close to personal reality hypotheticals... :)

I'm glad we found a civil place to hang out. I was hoping AOPA board would clean up, but I guess that's not going to happen.

Yes Dr. Chien, it's nice to see you online. And I'll make this medical by saying I'm having my first flight this saturday after having my hip replacement in October. Not sure I'll be able to use the Cessna foot steps to check the fuel, but there hould be a ladder somewhere :)

I never posted much on the other board because even some of my simple comments got flamed early on. But I Hung around for the knowlegde. I get the impression it might be different over here!
