I didn't see a Sawzall. Those little drywall saws mostly drop their dust straight down, as it's fairly coarse. Now, a Rotozip saw, that's got to be one of the most effective means of creating dust ever made.

I'd also disagree with the use of mesh tape on a butt joint, I'd use paper. Mesh tape is for taper joints.
