I'm planning to fly up Thursday before the show and set up camp in the N40, and then have the family drive up Sunday/Monday. The question is, what to do with the car for the week? I see that the regular parking lots say that they don't allow overnight parking. Do they enforce that? I also see that there's a "lot S" parking for Scholler, but that's pretty far from the N40. I found one forum post suggesting that it's possible to get a pass for lot "H" which is right across the street from N40. That would be ideal, but I can't find any other info on it. Anybody have experience with this?

No direct experience at OSH - but you could try to park in the back of the Basler lot.

I suppose you need a berth for your yacht and a barn for the horse as well?

The H lot is the answer. When you’re registering to camp, say that’s what you want. THEN go online to pay for it while standing there at the booth, following their directions, to get a good discount on it.

Also, check with the houses near/across from like the Hilton, Friar Tucks, etc. Some of them sell parking, including overnight. When we've camped in vintage, I've rented a car and parked it at one of the houses outside the gate by the ultralight field for like $20/day (and they were happy to let us park overnight). Worked out really well.

We had friends park at Rellumtdats right there across from where the diagonal road hits Knapp St (diagonally across from ultralights.

I assumed they'd be at capacity by now. I do have a couple friends who camp there, so I might be able to sneak in there if lot H doesn't work out. Planning to arrive Thurs, so I should have time to figure out something. Lot H would be the best possible scenario as the car would be close enough to easily hop in and explore some other parts of Oshkosh.
