How many hours it take you to solo?

61.87 makes it really hard for anyone to solo under 10 hours and be proficient in those tasks. I guess PoA is filled with a bunch of super pilots!

Or, old pilots who learned on 1800 foot grass strips in an aircraft without radios.

50 give or take it was a good thing ,dual instruction is the best money spent .

From the CFI's point of view, I guess, since you're paying him. There's value in dual instruction, no question, but best money spent is solo.

I think I was 38 hrs before solo, or something...I wasn't counting then and only checked once out of curiosity because of this thread.

Any chance you could post the histogram with all hours below 7? I wonder how much it contributes (or doesn't).

Average of 11.7 hours with standard deviation of 4.5 hours. If I ignore that one at 25 then it's 11.1 hours and 4.3 hours.
