We are in a freaking DROUGHT, for cripe's sake! Mumble-grumble-stoopid-freaking-unstable-airmass...

'The needs of the many.....' and all that fun stuff.

you'll get your chance!

Welcome to my world! Frigging S FL has been

one thunderstorm after another ALL SUMMER LONG.

It's a miracle I finally got my checkride done... only a month behind schedule due to weather!

We need to get our schedules together, I went off shore fishing out of Destin yesterday morning for an overnight.:mad2::mad2: We had scheduled to go out Friday night, but the weather looked better for Saturday, it was better IN Destin, unfortunately we were 80 miles south in squall city! :mad2: We cut our losses and came back last night.:dunno:

Catch anything good? Ive been trying to fish the jetties between thunderstorms.

Here weve had a thunderstorm everyday for almost 2 weeks. Roads are flooding and one county over roads are falling apart.

rained out again today, grrrr

This is getting ridiculous. I have a new engine to break in, and putting around the taxiway isn't cutting it!

What's a girl to do?

We had 1 Blue and 1 white Marlin bite, but neither one stayed hooked. :mad2:

As a usual, here on the island we have not received so much as a DROP of rain.

Nonetheless, it appears we made the right call. Current conditions, below.

And we did get to do a spirited local flight over the island chain, so it's all good!

I just feel bad for our instructor, after standing him up three times.
