How can someone afford this?

Just remember, someone is looking at you right now and saying, how can you afford to rent that 172?

Now go purchase some Scott's turf builder and help fuel a nice P-51 and two corporate jets.

When I started flying, I got exposed to a whole new world of money that is out there. depending on the airport, sometimes I pull up in my mooney and feel like the Sanford and Son plane out in the ramp.

Me too....

I don't like talking flying with my clients. Goes something like this:
client: You fly?!
me: Yea, it's fun - something to do.
client: me to! What do you fly?
me: A Bonanza!
client: Yea! We loved ours, but had to upgrade to a twin.
client: then we outgrew the twin and now we just have the citation

At this point, I usually get questioned about they year/model of my bo ... hard spending that kind of money to feel like you own the equivalent of a trailer house... but I love my old bird...

Well, at least you know your clients have money, that's a good thing.
