I will be flying down to Houston next week and it looks like I will have the majority of the day Wednesday to entertain myself.

This is probably a long shot, but does anybody have any particularly helpful information regarding the possibility off finding a good instructor for some introductory aerobatic/unusual attitude recovery or even tail wheel training. Flying into Hooks and I will be staying in a hotel somewhere between there and MD Anderson.

Any other ideas regarding a good way to kill the day in the area would be helpful, as well.

Thanks.

NASA Johnson Space Center.

Then go have lunch or dinner on the water nearby at Kemah.

Aerobatic, unusual attitude recovery, or tail wheel is a tough one at Hooks.

If you're open to going to the south side of Houston, check out http://www.texastaildraggersinc.com/ at KAXH (Houston Southwest) or http://www.harveyrihn.com/index.html at T41 (LaPorte on southeast side). Both will be closer to get into the area around The Med Center too (assuming you're going to the main MDAnderson campus and not one of the satellite centers).
