Hot Air Balloon down in Egypt

I had a friend who had to jump from a balloon after striking powerlines and severing the propane line and setting the basket on fire. He survived having broken just about every bone in his body. The passenger did not.
 
CNN now has a video of the fall.
 
19 passengers fit in one of those??? How? And wouldn't Egypt banning all hot air balloon flights until the investigation is over be like the FAA saying that nobody can fly GA until some airplane crash is investigated fully? It hit power lines--how controversial is this to the Egyptian officials? Then again it is Egypt.

I'm sure that Egypt will investigate as thoroughly as they investigated EgyptAir 990.

He may be able to get a job with an Italian cruise line. :)
