I have a line set that is creating vibration (and noise) when it exits my house to the compressor.

Are there any products that act as a grommet or something similar to isolate it from the siding and reduce the vibration? When I pull it away from the siding, the vibration lessens significantly.

I have pictures if that helps.

Thanks,

Jon

That would work, but you would have to saw it in half to get it on or have the refrigerant removed, line cut, put that on, then braze and refill the refrigerant. I would wrap it with an old hose, slit the hose, slide over up into the wall.

A picture would help. Sometimes the condensing units move around a little, you might be able to, gently, slide it back so the line set doesn't contact the wall.

Ok. An old hose hose may work. I was thinking of some sort of grommet in the siding . After I looked at that product, I realized I'd have to disconnect the hose to slide it on.

foam it.....

Or some silicone caulk would do the same as as a grommet but be easier to apply/install and do a better job of sealing / fitting.
