Case appointed manager of Hobby Airport

[font=Times New Roman,Times,Serif]The Houston Airport System has appointed Mary Case as airport manager of William P. Hobby Airport, effective July 5.
Case has served as airport manager of Ellington Field since 1997. Case replaces previous Hobby manager Meg Lonero, who retired on March 31.
Case, a 44 year-old native West Virginian, has spent the last 18 years working for the aviation department, many at George Bush Intercontinental Airport with responsibilities in operations, security, airfield and grounds, and standards and procedures.
Before coming to Houston, Case worked from 1982 to 1984 as an aircraft mechanic's assistant and fueler at other airports. She also worked as airport operations officer at the Tulsa International Airport for three years. Case earned her private pilot's license and a bachelor of science degree from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach, Fla.
