Can anyone in the Dallas area give me a ride from F00 to FWS this Sunday? Time doesn't matter as long as I can make it back to F00 before sunset.

Are you familiar with the rules on this sort of thing? (Hint: you need a common purpose.)

Not today Mr FAA man…
Why would you need that? He didn’t offer to pay.
Big brother is watching you ;-) lol. Common purpose will be breakfast, lunch or dinner depending on what time of the day.

“Enjoying flying” is a common purpose.
But that doesn’t matter unless you’re splitting cost. GA cost sharing should always be done quietly and in cash with no record keeping, just in case....

SixPC with a Y said to let him know before. Did you?
I did. We couldn't find a common purpose Sunday ;-)
If not Sunday, I can also do Monday if anyone has a common purpose to go from F00 to FWS that day instead of Sunday.
It sure looks like a beautiful day to fly today and tomorrow.
Meet me in Florida and I'll fly you where you need to go. lol
I’ll be in Florida in January but right now it’s a bit of a detour unfortunately lol.

You would have a much better chance of finding a volunteer if you were to name the communities rather than make people look them up. I happen to know that F00 is Bonham because I hangared there a number of years, and I think FWS is Spinks, but I haven’t been there in years. I don’t make it to the West side of the metroplex very often.
Giving community names rather than airport designators is also good manners for those in far away places who would like to help, but have no idea where you are, so they have to look it up. You would be showing respect for them by preventing their search.
Anyway, if you would not ask people to look them up, it would increase your chance of finding a taker. Putting your home airport in your location would also be helpful.
Just a friendly suggestion.
