Aw poor little guy 
I almost hit a hawk this past weekend, missed him by about 30 feet. That would have been a nasty strike. At least this guy cleans out easy and probably left no damage.

It looks kinda like a snipe.
No, he was wedged in tight plus I pre-flight pretty good. I suspect I hit him landing Saturday. Found it Tuesday getting ready.
Sparrow or finch, couldn't tell.
