My Dad and his brothers knew the Wincapaw(s), the latter's town being adjacent to where my family has been rooted since the 1860s. I had the good fortune of interviewing Edward Rowe Snow, at Owls Head Light Station, for a radio program when I was a high school student back around 1960. Who actually controlled the interview is debatable:rolleyes:, ERS being the much-published historian, author, and lecturer. At any rate I think all you pilots will find Jim Brunelle's article to be very enlightening.
