Hilltop Lakes, Tx.....

Anyone have any knowledge about or know someone at Hilltop Lakes, Tx? Looking to maybe buy a couple of lots on the airport and put up a hangar and apartment there. I've been priced out the DFW area for a couple of years now and retirement is getting close enough that we need to start making some decisions soon.

I have heard, but can't verify, that the area is in a sort of decline, so prices are down.

Years ago I was riding with a friend in a 18 wheeler delivering some construction materials. (actually he was using me for free labor) The entrance security would not let us in. The builders had to unload and finish the delivery with their forklifts outside the entrance.

I figure anyplace that won't let me in must be a pretty good place to live...
