Touchdown! Greaser!
Colorado Pilots Assoc will be conducting two sessions of it's High Altitude Airport training this summer:
Saturday, June 20
Saturday, Aug 8
Altho it's titled "Mountain Flying", this is NOT the back country flying such as McCall's in Idaho. There's no deliberate landing in the back country. The course provides the down & dirty aspects of dealing with airports at high altitudes and hot weather. The course is a full day of ground on Saturday. The practical flying part is scheduled (and paid for separately) with an instructor at your convenience. If you haven't been there before, one of the landings is always at Leadville so you can get your certificate.
