Hide in plain sight?

Anyone who gets one is going to show it off defeating the purpose.
 
Its not for showing it off, it's for having a weapon for quick access in any room in the house.
 
The fake bottom shelves are a good idea, but the bulky mirror screams of "there is something inside of here."
 
I built a medicine cabinet that worked that way. My wife bought a new vanity and the matching mirror which was designed to hang on the wall. I wanted a medicine cabinet so I boxed one out into the wall and then hung the mirror on drawer slides as shown in that video. It's pretty cool and even without the lock it takes people a minute to realize they need to slide it to the left rather than opening it like a door.

A few minutes with a Kreg jig is really all you need to put the thing together.

How many people are going to buy that then not show their friends?
 
Like the fake shelf.never know when your going to need it. Hope the home invaders arent watching.

If I did, it would be at least one. My friends have no idea how many guns I have in my house - or where they are located.
 
I like the disclaimer at the end of the video.

Not a bad solution for easy access especially for those with children around.
 
Pretty easy to see them in my house. There are guns everywhere.
