Hiatal hernia

I recently had a colonoscopy and endoscopy and the doctor mentioned I had a very small hiatal hernia. According to him, too small to be concerned with and no reason to address or worry about. When it comes time for my next FAA medical, how do I handle reporting this and showing that it really isn't an issue? I haven't had the followup appointment with him yet, and my discharge paper with the initial impressions doesn't mention it at all.

I think that most folks of a certain age have a hiatal hernia of some degree. I'd certainly report it; I doubt an AME will give it a second thought.
