Here's another "Why Hail Sux"

Wow, that's impressive. I bet they had to replace their flight suits, too. Here's a comment from a knowledgable friend:

The T-38 structures are made of a very thin aluminum on honeycomb. They can't patch that stuff. It's going to require new wings and tail and nose cone. They're lucky the engines didn't quit because the compressor blades are tiny and delicate as well.
