Henning - Your name just turned up in my Ancestry search. My grandfather's grandmother was Wilhemine HENNING, born Nov 1848 in Prussia, died 6 Aug 1926 in Chicago.

Hmmmmm... A Henning ? From Chicago ?? He is off my buddy list now.:yesnod::D:wink2:

Henning isn't a Henning. There might be a Henning somewhere in the past but his last name is one that I know of as Hungarian and it's not Henning.

Where the heck is he now? Oh yeah, U-Boats again. :)

At the risk of being banned myself, I like Henning. Even though he busts my balls.

He said he was doing six weeks on, six weeks off on the new tugboat gig, didn't he? Probably just out making some money.

Making money? Heck, everyone knows that airplane owners are all independently wealthy... He's just slumming...

. . . I like Henning. Even though he busts my balls.

Me too. But it takes effort. Usually when people tell me I'm wrong I wonder how they can be so ignorant. For some reason though, when Henning tells me I'm wrong (most of the time) I re-evaluate.

I wanted to remind everybody about the following line in the Rules of Conduct.

Bans and warnings are not to be discussed on the forums. Any inquiries or comments or bans are to be sent in private messages or via email. A moderator may choose to publicly inform the participants of a forum about bans and warnings if this is in the interest of the forum.

No, not at all. I read Jason's post, thought about how some pilots tend to be anti-authority, thought of this commercial, chuckled, and thought I'd share.

Sometimes telling pilots what to do seems like herding cats =D

Sorry. I didn't read the fine print. Makes sense. No argument on that policy.

Likewise. I wasn't being serious, but my original joke may have been in poor taste as well as in violation of the roc. I'm sorry.

Well you guys are all interesting to me simply because you're all pilots. You guys do something that I don't do so you are of interest to me. However Henning is a captain of a yacht, drinks Dos Equis, has an interesting name, and has discussed dying and his associated theories with it on several occasions. Plus he received the top vote in my hypothetical "personal pilot" thread beating out Martha King, a Vietnam War era pilot, and David White. So need I say more?

We've all had it happen at some point. It usually feels uncalled for (I don't know what happened to Henning, and won't even ask, because that violates the rules), but it usually is, truthfully.

I got suspended for using a phrase that I believed meant something other than a large number of others believed it did. But it was valid, because someone complained about it, and they were offended. That's life.

Henning will be back. And still not related to Aunt Peggy :)
