I know a shop that gives me a great deal on all the wiring I need. They will laser mark them with whatever wire number I ask for. (I worked there as the electrical engineer and also ran the avionics shop and installations)
I give them a drawing showing length numbers and type and in a few days the box is at my house. I do all the supplemental wiring diagrams and all included with airplane. So anyone after me will know exactly what was done and how it was done by just looking at the drawings. I even redo some of the OEM ones just to update them.
