Hi, I'm a long time lurker, first time poster and figured I'd say hello here. I'm based out of Naper Aero (LL10), a low time PPL with instrument rating, thinking about getting a commercial and CFI rating as well. I joined a flying club here about two years ago and got my currency back (as well as the instrument rating) after a six year hiatus from flying.
I'm an air traffic controller at Chicago ARTCC and have been there for 11 years. My airspace covers most of Northern Indiana, from 11,000 feet on up. Doesn't give me a chance to work approach control much, so I'm transferring to Chicago TRACON this year to get that chance.
I wanted to introduce myself to you guys, thanks for having me aboard!
