    Every year before the Boston marathon they come and fly in between the buildings to get radiation baselines to compare to when the marathon occurs. Started after the bombings in 2013

    Am familiar with this incident, as a large new construction development down the street nearby a facility I worked with in Mexico was abandonded.

    Built with Cobalt-60 contaminated rebar from a botched hospital imaging unit scrap job (that was sold to the yard for $10).

    6,000 tons of radioactive steel produced and distributed.

    Interesting story, as both radioactive rebar and cast iron table bases were found on multiple trucks in the US after triggering similar detectors.
