I know! The CFI(?) with the cigarette in-hand was a nice touch. As a very low-time pilot, I'm torn between: "freakin' cowboys!" and "damn that was pretty cool".

freakin' cowboys if you know anything about helo ops - never let anyone approach from the front and no unsecured headgear/material - an R22 has a tall mast so maybe there was no danger but the CFI did tilt the disk away from the groundlings...
