Headset Headband Repair

The Gel headband cushion on my Sigtronics S-58 has come off. Does anyone have a recommendation what what type of glue to use? I was thinking hot glue, but I am concerned about removing the cushion in the future if the glue I use it too strong. My other thought was to get some velcro strip and use that instead.
