Did anyone else think that this was a very weak season finale?

LoL, now that I think about it. I don't think there was one sex scene in the Finale... Hmmm I must be getting to old to not catch stuff like that anymore.

There wasn't. That was a big surprise. At least they didn't show what was in the box!

I was hoping to get closure on allot of the stuff that happened throughout the season.

I hope they don't try and waste another season trying to kill off the Stark bloodline.

I refuse to read te books and spoil it for me.

After the Red Wedding anything's going to be anticlimactic. I was a bit surprised they didn't end the season with it. Talk about going out with a bang.

No guns, just bows, so they would have had to go out with a "twang".

I was really hoping that they were going to go out with an Orgy, which would have covered your bang, and his twang all in one..... However, it looks as if next seasons season finale will be an epic battle and we will finally get to see the dragons in action and probably full grown. (Wishful thinking)

Whoa... remember, every time someone speculates about next season's Game of Thrones, Martin kills a Stark.

I read all the books so far. The next few seasons are going to top this one.

Maybe, depending on how they do it and if they have the oompf to continue. That said, the Red Wedding was one of the more memorable scenes in the book, and might be hard to top for impact.

Danery's scene with the Unsullied was the best of the series so far in the book Of Steingar.

I can agree with that statement. It'll be hard to top, but the material is there.

The show runners often put the shocker episode up in the next to last and then use the last set up for the next season.

I want to see Brienne when she gets the news that her Lady Stark is dead. We'll see her team up with Arya to wreak some havoc and take some heads.

YEAH, what he said.

Problem with the series is they keep changing things from the way they are in the books. Irritating.

Dunno about that. I loved Diana Riggs scenes, even though they weren't in the books. They manage to simplify and smoothen a lot of cumbersome material as well. As it is they have one of the largest casts of any TV show, I doubt they could do much more. Books are books, and film is film. They're different media that do different things.

I think their biggest problem is going to be the kid actors growing up.

I think that problem has already surfaced. Isaac Hempstead-Wright, who plays Bran Stark, has visibly aged more than his character should have.

Agreed, and it will happen to more of them. It hasn't been so bad since his is a sedentary character.
