Has anyone here ever flown there LSA or single engine through Mexico to S. America, or read a blog or story about anyone doing it. I'm looking for just a good read really.

I think AOPA had a series of articles about two guys ferrying SR-22s or SR-20s down to Central America. It was a good read.

I tried to order Flying South on Amazon and it was on backorder for over 6 months before I canxed the order.

I looked on their site, Mountain Light, to see if you could order it straight from them but it looks like it's out of print. I'm sure there are used copies around, though.

Sometime in the late 80s, Dawn Wesson-Davis wrote a book about her and her husband's Mexico adventures in their Taylorcraft F-21A. "The Adventures of Captain Jack and Amelia". ISBN 0-9622633-0-3.
