Has anyone run into this problem on Windows XP? I use a Plantronics H31 startset headset on the computer which requires a USB adapter. I had a DA50 USB-adapter until it broke recently, and replaced it with a DA55.
Plantronics advises that the unit doesn't require any drivers to function and when I use it, it works just fine. However, if I leave it plugged into any USB port on the computer, it will inhibit the screensaver and monitor power settings from functioning correctly.
The hardware shows up in Windows Device Manager with a question mark (as did the previous unit), but this is really driving me nuts. I usually just un-plug the thing when I'm done with it for the night, but I'd like to finally figure this thing out.
Thanks,
