I want to fly into one of these three airports & depart on the airline for a 3 week trip.
Which one is going to be (able to &) most affordable to hangar my plane?
IAH
AUS
DFW
I realize I can call - sometimes POA-GPT has an easier answer.

I’m even looking around for satellite fields that I could uber over from

You'd be better off hangaring at a reliever and ubering to the hub.

However, some AvFlights at class C's will charge $0 for outside tie downs. Not sure if all do, but some do. But ya gotta leave your plane outside.

I flew in and out of KGPM to bring a passenger to DFW by Uber. I didn’t look into hangars at all but I was happy with the airport and ground proximity to the big airport.

I would go to AUS and hangar at Atlantic, Million Air or Signature.
Will be much easier to get in and out of AUS.
Call and get the daily rate plus any handling fees (they don't charge if you purchase fuel).
Sometimes they will make a 'deal' on a longer stay, just ask.

Emsil sent to my regular fbo!

I had a good experience flying into Atlantic at KAUS a couple years ago. If I have some time to spare and I have business in Austin, I fly into Georgetown Executive (KGTU), about a 45 minute drive north of Austin. Fuel is about half the cost of KAUS, and tiedowns/hangars are a small fraction of what you'll pay at KAUS. If you're leaving the plane for more than a week, it may be worth the time and transportation costs to Austin.
