There has been a hangar relocation going on at my airport since last year.
The winter weather held up the concrete pad until about a month ago they got it finished.
The building mover has been working for months getting the hangar ready to move.
The poor tenants had to move out months ago, so sorry for them.
I was in this hangar when I first came to the airport 8 years ago.
Luckily I moved to a different hangar that has not been effected by the move.
Today was supposed to be the day it moved. We were all watching, but must have been a problem because it hasn't moved yet.
It's up in the air disconnected from the concrete pad.
I left at about 3:30 today, it might still move today but I couldn't hang around any longer.
Here's some pictures in a few minutes. These pictures are from 2 days ago, I didn't take any pictures today like a dummy. The building was 14" off the ground ready to roll on dolly's control by a large power pack and a hand held controller. We watched it move above 18" today until a problem popped up. Hundreds of feet of hydraulic hoses and electric cables to deal with.
