I had a few friends over yesterday and a few guys flew in. We did a couple of formation flights, then hunkered down for the tstorms and lightening with a few adult beverages. :cornut:

Here are a few pics:

Special thanks to Steve for making the trip down!

Ah, you beat me to it...

My camera is old and my photo technique leaves a lot to be desired as most of my pics were out of focus, but here's a few that looked ok.

Nice outing. Enjoyed observing the joins and breaks, so easy even a BUFF pilot can do it! :)

Haha, I'll tell Tom you said that. (and yes, I agree with you - all easy) Next time we'll start doing some more difficult formation.

Looks like a good time was had.

Glad to see the I.A.R. in the A.I.R.

Whose is that incredibly-pretty Comanche? It is eminently drool-worthy.

That plane belongs to an F-15 driver who flies out of Belle Chasse, LA JRB. He keeps the PA-24 at KNEW.

And yes, it is pristine, unlike the Romanian beast.

Alas, I was the old man at this hangar party, with F-15, C-17, C-130, & T6II types (and a B-52er) in attendance. I felt much younger at the previous one, where F-102 pilots were the dominant species.

A buddy of mine from New Orleans. Beautiful airplane (he'd just finished a full detail/wash/wax before he flew up on Sat).

We don't call that old, it's experienced!
