Hand held radio

I saw a topic from a year ago, but I will start a new one.

I want a hand held radio for backup when flying IFR.

I will not have access to mounts in the airplane for the antenna or power since it is a club airplane.

Easy to use. Good range.

What are some good options?

I've been using an ICOM A-22 for over 15 years. I have the headset adapter with PTT. I've replaced the rechargeable battery about 3 times.
