Yes, it was.

It was "career day" on the base concurrent with the civilian fly-in. Nice mini-airshow as the aircraft departed. Don't remember the complete list, but there were about a dozen from around the US there, KC-10, KC-135, C-130, C-38, F-16, F-15, U-28, B-1, among others, plus the trainer planes based there.

The civilian tour included T-1, T-38, and T-6II sim rides. I pulled the -6II and got about 10 minutes, enough to do a couple of rolls, a loop, and two landings.
 
The view from the contact position is a pretty good one, too. Next time we tank with a KC-10 I'll try to remember to take a picture and post it here. Rendezvous with them at night and it looks like you are pulling up behind a small city, will all the lights they have.
