Line Up and Wait
I was at the airport today working on the runway lights and I heard this rather loud roar getting louder. It did not click right away (Small unused airport) I looked up to see this large plane coming at me. I walked back to the ramp after giving it plenty of room to land. I offered a ride to town, you know "I give you a ride you give me a ride" I should have been thinking "You drive and I'll drive". It turns out it was those tool guys that sell those tools at the American Legion type of places. They told me to pick out what I wanted up to $50.00. Not bad for a ride to town 2 miles. I went back and bought 3 engine stands for $40.00 each that I convert to wing rotators for covering and painting. Real nice guys, some hairy stories about flying in TS. As they left they were swatting at the horse flies that invaded the plane.
