Got an email from my state senator today.... The bill winding its way through the legislature shielding private property owners from liability when the public use private land for recreation has passed and waiting for the governers sig..... If this is really true then I will call the FAA and relist my private airport from Private ownership / private use to Private ownership / Public use......... 2WY3 will be available to all pilots to use as they see fit.......

But 2,980' at nearly 8,000' altitude means I am not likely to bring the Bo in...

Actually, When I get my hangar built ,there will be a control tower built on top of it.. That will be my living area.....And I have a great income stream idea...... Landing fees:eek::wink2:..

Ya see. I am right under the major airway leading to SLC and if any 747 or A-380 has a emergency and needs to put down I get a windfall...

Hmmm Lets see.... 2 bucks a pound X 1 million pounds.. :redface::redface:..

That right there will pay for a decent POA party..:yes::D

It ain't that bad.......:no:..

I can get off the ground in about 250 -300 feet... I have had 172's, 182's, 207's, Cubs. Had an Aztec in and out I was told, I didn't actually see it but supposably there is a youtube video of it somewhere.. Even had Bo's in and out of there safely... Harrison Ford is usually off the ground in 400-500 feet in his Husky. One day a good friend spent 20 minutes herding antelopes off the runway with his Quest Kodiak.... That was a blast to watch....

Like any Rocky Mountain high altitude strip... fly early when is is cold. Last weather data I have seen shows only 21 days out of 365 that were over freezing in the morning...
